You all know I make big healthy babies. That's no secret, right? Mattie was a healthy 8lbs 15oz bundle and her brother was 9lbs 7oz of hunkiness. Is that a word? If not, it should be and this is the picture they should give as an example:
Just look at those cheeks. He's like a little cinnamon roll you just want to nibble. I might be biased but I think chunky babies are adorable. The only time in your life when fat rolls will be cute and the more you have the better. That's a beautiful thing. Something that is not beautiful? That the majority of baby pajamas are made for these tall skinny babies. That is some kind of prejudice. I don't know the details, but I can tell you, it's not politically correct in some way, shape or form. You know who else makes products for only skinny babies? Bumbo. Have you ever tried to fit a chunky little thigh between the leg openings on a Bumbo? Nearly impossible. You have to squish the baby fat all around and smoosh the leg down. It can't feel good. Then you try to take the baby out and their more to love legs get stuck and you have to get a 2nd person involved to pry to seat off the baby while you hold the poor kid who must be traumatized. I mean, what kind of message is that sending? Big is beautiful Bumbo, figure that out already.
Let me introduce you to a product that loves chunky little baby legs as much as I do. The amazing Baby Base 2-in-1 booster seat by Ingenuity.
I can not say enough good things about this product. It's like a Bumbo but so much better. There's a little tray that you can use for meal time, snack time or play time. The tray conveniently slides into a little pocket on the bottom when not in use. Making it perfect for travel.
It includes removable straps so you can safely attach it to a chair. There's even a little secret compartment underneath the seat to store those as well when you're not using it as a highchair/booster seat. It has a 3 point harness safety belt so your baby can't fall out. The Baby Base 2-in-1 takes baby's safety seriously.
It also ages with your child. As baby moves into the toddler stage, the blue insert comes out making the seat larger to accommodate older children. Which means you save money. You no longer have to buy a Bumbo and a booster seat. Ingenuity's Baby Base has a weight limit of 50lbs, Bumbo has a weight limit of 30lbs. Oh, and the best part? Those little leg openings are bigger to make it cozy for those chunky little legs.
I told you it was amazing. This seat is perfect for the parent who wants to save money, time and space by only buying one product. A product that grows with your child. Jack loves to sit in it and play with his toys. Since he doesn't need it for meal time because we're still using our Trio 3-in-1 Highchair, Mattie decided it was her new meal time booster seat.
Jack's only 7 months old and already these kids are fighting over stuff. This is a must for any parent. Pregnant girls, add it to your baby registry, you won't regret it. You can buy it right now at Target for $39.99 which is the same price as the Bumbo but the Bumbo doesn't come with a tray, that's an extra $11.99. Support your big beautiful baby and buy a Baby Base 2-in-1. I promise, you can't go wrong.
P.S.- It also comes in PINK
